Multisorb promotes Lex Wagteveld to Commercial Director, Europe

Lex Wagteveld will lead Multisorb's commercial healthcare efforts in Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

Multisorb Technologies announces the promotion of Lex Wagteveld to the position of Commercial Director, Europe - Healthcare Packaging. Based in the Netherlands, Wagteveld will direct all Healthcare Packaging market activity in these regions, supporting his team of Business Development staff in their respective geographic roles.

“Lex will leverage his in-depth knowledge of the healthcare sector and packaging to provide leadership for Multisorb's growth in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa,” says Adrian Possumato, Vice President of Healthcare Packaging. “His appointment reflects Multisorb's commitment to provide leadership, innovation, and solutions in the field of active packaging for the healthcare industry on a global level while also providing local expertise for the markets it serves.”

Wagteveld joined Multisorb in January 2015 and previously held the position of Business Development Leader, Northern Europe in the Healthcare Packaging Group. Prior to joining Multisorb, He worked for 25 years in various capacities, including technical and management positions, with leading packaging companies such as Merit Medical, and Johnson & Johnson. Wagteveld also holds a Master’s degree in Medical Biology, Hemato-Oncology and Physiology from the University of Groningen and a Master’s in Business Administration from McGill University.
