Total Indulgence is a total winner

Winner of the Bernard M. Seid Best of Show Award in the 35th annual awards competition sponsored by the National Assn. of Container Distributors was Tricor Packaging (St.

Louis, MO) for packages used by Sebastian Intl. of Woodland Hills, CA. Sebastian's Total Indulgence(TM) body care products come in 250- and 400-mL bottles as well as a 125-mL jar. The bottles are injection stretch/blow molded of polyethylene terephthalate by PET-PAK (Mississauga, Ontario, Canada). Then they're sent to Hanes Erie (Erie, PA) to be frosted and screen-printed in one color. Compression molded of urea by Poly-Seal (Baltimore, MD), the 24-mm threaded closures are given a matte silver spray. The threaded closure is not used, however, for the 250-mL Total Indulgence body splash (shown). This container takes a EuroMist® pump system from Seaquist Perfect Dispensing (Cary, IL). The 125-mL jar is extrusion blown of polyvinyl chloride by Poly-Tainer (Simi Valley, CA). Frosted and screen-printed like the bottles in the line, it's sealed with a 63-mm threaded closure compression molded of urea. Both jar and bottles, says Sebastian's director of packaging, Bob Galbraith, are uniquely "elegant." Introduced in August '97, the Total Indulgence line is carried in some 150ꯠ salons in 50 countries.
