Cranston, RI-based medical and electronics packaging designer Alga Plastics has purchased new thermoforming equipment from Armac Industries, a sister company of Sencorp Systems (Hyannis, MA).

The computer-controlled, servo-driven machines, says Alga, reduce set-up time and material waste. Also added was a computerized vacuum former that allows Alga to simulate production before actual production. The Model HD333 machine is from Z.M.D. Intl. (Long Beach, CA).
