Targeting women aged 15 to 54, the new Barefoot line features the flowered graphics theme used for Freeman products. Seda Packaging (Los Angeles, CA) produces the low-density polyethylene tubes, offset-printed in six colors. They're fitted with threaded polypropylene caps and shipped to Freeman for filling. The tube's foot-shaped edge is achieved with Norden Packaging's (North Branch, NJ) Design-A-Seal system for custom crimping. Rather than using conventional sealing tools that close the tube from the outside, this unique system heats the tube edges from the inside, thus protecting the integrity of the decoration.
