A solventless polyurethane laminating adhesive system is described in a new technical bulletin from National Starch and Chemical (Bridgewater, NJ). The two-component system, a Duro-Lam® 37-8600 laminating adhesive with Duro-Lam® 37-8500 co-reactant, is recommended for treated polyolefins, polyesters, metallized films, aluminum foil and PVDC-coated films used to package food products such as meats, cheeses, frozen foods, snack foods, confections and fresh produce.
