APLIX Inc. earns compliance certification from the British Retail Consortium

The compliance certification recognizes that APLIX received an “A” rating for food safety within packaging.

APLIX Inc. has earned certification for compliance with the British Retail Consortium (BRC), under the prominent Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) benchmarked for food safety standards. APLIX Inc. met all of the BRC Global Standard requirements for Food Safety within the Packaging scope, receiving an “A” rating.

APLIX manufactures EASY-LOCK by APLIX, the hook-to-hook resealable closure for flexible packaging, at their Charlotte, NC, production facility. The closure system is comprised of self-mating micro hooks, allowing consumers to easily reseal their package without the need for precise alignment. EASY-LOCK by APLIX provides an audible feedback when opening and closing and continues to work with particulates in the hook area. It is an ideal closure for cheese, dried fruit, snacks, pet food, flour, cereal, and many other household packaging applications.
