Tang®, a staple in many American diets for 43 years, is changing its look. Kraft Foods of Glenview, IL, is introducing five new Tang flavors: Berry Panic®, Orange Uproar®, Fruit Frenzy, Cherry Craze and Tropical Tremor™. Packed in brightly decorated stand-up pouches, Tang’s target audience includes moms and kids between the ages of nine and 14. Designed by Alport Glass & Associates (Northbrook, IL), the ready-to-drink package delivers the logo with a graphic of fruit and a swinging monkey set against a splash of juice. According to Kraft’s Mary Jane Kinkade, the juice drink is “surpassing all expectations” in the marketplace. Tang Ready-to-drink Juice Drinks are available nationally and retail for $2.99.
