FDA continues consumer surveys
FDA has asked the Office of Management and Budget to continue its consumer surveys on food and dietary supplement labeling issues. The agency said that determining how consumers are likely to interpret various claims, warnings, disclaimers, caution statements, and notices that might appear on a label is important in the formulation of labeling policies.

Janssen Pharmaceutical, Beerse, Belgium, has installed a high-speed labeler that automatically feeds product into a tray packer without any need for manual handling between the two packaging operations. According to the company, this integration is the first of its kind in Europe.
