Despite its size, the 4741 Mini features a 12 in. OD label roll capacity to match one-to-one with ribbon supply changes and is available with a choice of print resolution options ranging from 203 dpi to 406 dpi.
The Honeywell PXie print engine enables the 4741 to succeed in applications that other systems simply can’t due to their Smart Printer design. It is able to host stand-alone software applications right in the print and apply system with programs developed through the Fingerprint and C# programming languages thus eliminating a connected PC. It also provides the ability to control peripheral devices, such as scanners and scales, directly from the print and apply system thereby reducing errors and streamlining operational processes. Additionally, the user selectable printer command languages emulate other popular printer resident languages, so the 4741 Mini can easily be incorporated into mixed printer environments or replace legacy systems no longer available.
The FOX IV 4741 Mini is built with the user in mind. Operator and maintenance friendly features help to deliver outstanding performance while minimizing downtime. Printheads are fast and easy to replace thanks to Honeywell’s magnetic QuickMount™ printhead design. Loading media is simple as well - just follow the screened label and ribbon paths printed directly onto the print and apply system’s center wall. FOX IV’s swing-away cylinder design provides full access to the printhead area for cleaning, replacing parts, and loading media.
