Pro Mach’s ID Technology Division acquires Colet

In order to strengthen service and support for Canadian customers, Pro Mach, Inc. has announced that its labeling, coding, and marking systems division, ID Technology, has acquired Toronto, Ontario-based Colet, a label manufacturer and provider of packaging supplies.

Colet will serve as ID Technology’s first label converting and production facility in Canada. This will allow ID Technology to provide a solid regional base for continued growth, in addition to strengthening service and support for Canadian customers.

Founded in 1990, Colet has earned a reputation for manufacturing high-quality custom color, pre-printed bar code and data labels, blank labels, and specialty expandable, embossed, and holographic labels. Colet has a strong history of customer satisfaction and delivering quality service, expertise, and equipment repair.

ID Technology, based in Fort Worth, Texas, is said to be one of North America's largest single-source providers of labeling, coding, and marking equipment, services, labels, and related supplies. ID Technology operates 5 manufacturing centers and 18 regional customer support offices across the United States and now Canada. Many of today’s consumer products and industrial goods companies rely on ID Technology’s vast range of equipment, services, and supplies to identify, brand, mark, track, and ship their products.

"The Colet organization and staff are excellent additions to the ID Technology and Pro Mach team," said Bob Zuilhof, President of Pro Mach's Identification and Tracking Business Unit. "Colet strengthens our ability to respond quickly and cost-effectively to Canadian customers. Colet’s capabilities and like-minded approach to customer service excellence fits well with ID Technology and our goal to be North America’s most trusted specialist for labeling, coding, and marking solutions.”

"I’m pleased for our customers and the Colet team," said Colet President Frank March. "We join outstanding organizations in ID Technology and Pro Mach with a strong tradition of leadership, growth, customer service, and innovative solutions in both labeling and packaging."
