Allergen-labeling studies

As part of the new law that requires companies to list the presence of known allergens on food labels, FDA is conducting a consumer survey involving 1ꯠ people with allergies or their caregivers to determine how they prefer to have the allergy-related information presented on labels.

FDA will also conduct an experimental study to gauge the impact of certain changes to the food label with regard to the presentation of information about allergenic ingredients.
