System SpA: Box forming system

FreeBox is a customizable box forming system; starting with corrugated sheets of 1200 x 1200 mm, the machine creates the packaging in the required format with the option of high definition printing of the logos, codes or other information, in one or more colors.

This technology enables the formation of boxes directly on the machine, thanks to a simple human-machine control interface which enables the entry of parameters for the required packaging dimensions. The entire process is automated and can be monitored via a system of internal cameras that enable the operator to control all processing cycles.

From a structural point of view, the machine is surrounded by interlocked panels fitted with photocells that in the event of opening immediately shut off power to the machine, shutting down all operation.

The box formed by FreeBox is made up of a base and two end sections that are produced by the machine in two separate areas. The end sections are formed on the left-hand side of the machine, while the base is formed on the right-hand side, to then be joined at the center for gluing and box forming.
