Ryan Schuelke, president of Enercon Induction Sealing Systems: Welcome to interpack 2023. I’m Ryan Schuelke, president of Enercon Induction Sealing Systems. We're debuting our new Super Seal Pro, the latest innovation in induction sealing technology. We’re excited about what we've got the offer. We've made a number of upgrades. First thing people say, “wow, look at the touchscreen.What have you done with that? Is the machine just a touchscreen?”
Well, no, it's really more than that. We've been able to upgrade the technology, make it responsive. Everyone has an iPhone today. They expect that responsiveness. But it's also allowed us to do many more things and actually go through and update the system.
There’s a completely new interface, and it’s really easy to have customers interact and see what's going on with the sealer. There are a number of settings that go on with the sealer, we've added a USB port to the system, which allows you to easily update software. No longer do you have to replace a control board or a controller on the system. Simply go through, hit a button, hit update with a USB file from us, and you're ready to go.
Same thing. USB file transfers. If you have a problem with the sealer and it gets a fault. We've developed a technology called Smart Capture, which goes through and monitors the sealer previous to the fault, and you're then able to send that information via USB to an Enercon support agent, like you've got someone in your plant with you.
Other cool features, the Super Seal Pro is multilingual. We've got a series of 13 languages that it now speaks in. Updating language is as simple as selecting it hit save and it switches to that language, making it great. Europe, Latin America, south America, Asia, wherever you want to be, that is there.
We've also added some great new features in the ability that we now have maintenance logs as well. So just like a check engine light on your car tells you, “Hey, you need an oil change.” We now have maintenance that can go in and tell you after 500 hours, make sure you're checking this. Great reminder. To go along with that is you also have to make sure that the guy isn't just coming up and hitting reset.
So we've created multi-layers of operator lockout to the system as well. So you're now able to set supervisor, maintenance, operator level, and make sure the appropriate people get in at the appropriate levels. One of the features I love the most is that if someone has a problem going over, we have QR codes on all of our fault screens as well.
