Huhtamaki: Moisture-barrier packaging system

The Velocity packaging system, from Huhtamaki , is a moisture-barrier package made from polypropylene plastic components.

Velocity containers use sidewalls that are formed around mandrels on forming equipment--similar to Huhtamaki’s paperboard forming equipment.. The sidewalls are printed on 6-color, off-set lithography presses, with 100% ink coverage possible on opaque and clear sheet. Package integrity and product safety are achieved without over packaging, improving environmental friendliness.
