The Sparks/Dura-Drive(TM) 4.5" dia motorized pulley provides a 62% increase in radial load weight for belt conveyor systems, says manufacturer Sparks Belting (Grand Rapids, MI).

Suitable as a direct replacement for an existing belt conveyor system or for powering a new installation. Self contained, it eliminates the need for a head drum, separate motor, gearbox, sprockets and chain, as well as safety guards and brackets required by conventional belt drives. Moisture-repellent end seals are standard.
