HERMA US Inc., the subsidiary of HERMA GmbH—a Germany-based provider of labeling machinery and self-adhesive labels and materials to the global packaging marketplace—is set to showcase its latest innovations at PACK EXPO East in Philadelphia, March 18-20, 2024. Attendees visiting HERMA US at Booth 537 can request live demonstrations of a trifecta of recently introduced or enhanced labeling equipment for a broad array of pharmaceutical and food & beverage packaging scenarios.

For HERMA US, among the PACK EXPO East highlights will be its HERMA 152C Wrap-around Labeler, which combines precision labeling with cost-effectiveness. Equipped with the high-performance HERMA 500 labeler, the unit can handle up to 200 cylindrical products per minute. Other benefits include:

  • Ease of maintenance, including a folding belt and back pressure plate offering exceptional performance and a rapid return on investment.
  • Tool-free adjustments in most circumstances, minimizing downtime.
  • Optional roller prism technology virtually eliminates spiral misalignment, ensuring perfectly aligned labeling.
  • Clean Design with closed holes, minimum gaps, and rounded corners for easy cleaning and maintenance.
  • Seamless integration of printer units such as hot stamp or thermal transfer printers.
  • Faster availability thanks to Clean Design and digitized ordering processes.

HERMA US also will display its HERMA 652C Top & Bottom Labeler. Featuring a novel two-in-one labeling capability, the unit sets new standards for efficiency and productivity by enabling both top and bottom labeling in one cycle via two HERMA 500 label applicators. Other highlights include:

  • A variety of optional modules for versatile labeling tasks.
  • Easy integration into most production settings.
  • Compact design for space-saving versatility.

Finally, the HERMA 752C is designed to apply, in one movement, a single label on the front, top and base; options for back-of-package labeling also are available. Engineered for reliability and hygiene – making it ideal for food packaging and other applications where cleanliness is paramount – the HERMA 752C can label up to 60 products per minute. Additional benefits include:

  • Stainless steel machine base for durability and food-grade compliance.
  • Integrated HERMA 500 labeler provides precise dispensing, even for challenging four-side labeling.
  • C-wrap and D-wrap labeling options for maximum versatility.
  • Quick, tool-free adjustments to accommodate differing product sizes.
  • Enhanced with HERMA's new Clean Design for optimal hygiene and maintenance.

"We’re thrilled to showcase our latest labeling innovations at PACK EXPO East 2024," said Peter Goff, President at HERMA US. "These cutting-edge machines demonstrate our commitment to providing our customers with the most advanced labeling solutions available, empowering them to streamline their packaging processes and enhance product presentation."
