Said to be the largest and most versatile machine in the line, the new R 535 features a new concept, offered exclusively from the company: an integrated Clean-in-Place (CIP) system that automates the cleaning of component groups inside the machine. After a pre-cleaning, a cleaning program can be started at the push of a button. The standardized, logged process ensures adherence to predetermined cleaning cycles, and dosages/mixtures of sanitizing chemicals. The equipment comes standard with IPC control systems for seamless integration with upstream and downstream packaging line components. The R 535, offering tool sizes up to 1,300-mm cut-off length or up to 600 packages/min, will be available at the start of the new year; successive models will roll out in the following months.
