Norwood Marking Systems has announced the appointment of Larisa Vereshchagina as Corporate Account Executive.

Vereshchagina is responsible for bringing the company’s high-quality thermal transfer and hot stamp coding and marking equipment to the market. She is working directly with end-users as well as distributors and partnering with OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) to integrate Norwood printers on a variety of host equipment.

Vereshchagina’s territory includes Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio and Wisconsin, serving customers in all of Norwood’s packaging and industrial markets with the exception of the pharmaceutical industry, which continues to be handled by Norwood’s Pharmaceutical Business Development Manager.

“Larisa’s customer service philosophy, which complements that of the company, adds value to the customers she works with,” said Bhavin Davé, Business Unit Manager at Norwood.  “She takes great care to understand her customers’ objectives and help them get the most for their money.  She is a terrific resource for our customers and a strong addition to the Norwood team.”

Vereshchagina brings three years of outside sales and account management experience to her position at Norwood.  Most recently, she was Lead Purchasing Manager for AVR Center.  Previously, she was Sales Manager for Coveright Surfaces Germany and prior to that, Equipment Department Marketing Manager for OAO Samaraneftekhimproject.  Larisa earned an MBA from Iowa State University and holds a bachelor’s degree from Samara State University of Education.

“Norwood is a respected market leader known for innovative design, quality engineering and excellent customer support,” commented Vereshchagina.  “We have a fantastic opportunity to expand the company’s presence in the food, medical device, chemical, cosmetics and other industries.”
