The LIAA received more than 16ꯠ entries worldwide, awarding only 15 in the package design category. Designers created the QuickBooks carton graphics to deliver a balanced expression of brand equity through color and unique metaphorical illustration within a consumer friendly architecture. These elements together provide the context for a vibrant retail presentation with clear and easy-to-understand product information. The graphics are embedded in shades of green, which symbolize money. And because the software helps retailers track sales and customer information, that symbolism, along with graphic depictions of money and a cash register, is vital. This is LPK’s second consecutive win. The design firm won the statue for the global redesign of the Pantene brand in the hair care packaging design category in 2001.
