Seed mix entices in new windowed bag

A new package design for 20-lb bags of food-plot seed for deer allows for gravure-printed graphics across the entire bag, as well as a see-through window insert.

Antler King® of Black River Falls, WI, recently upgraded the packaging for its Red Zone™ deer food-plot product with the help of Flair Flexible Packaging to attract as many human customers as it already attracts deer. According to Todd Stittleburg, animal nutritionist and Antler King founder, his 20-lb bags of nutrient-packed Red Zone seed mixes for food plots are well-respected for boosting the body weight and rack size of whitetail deer. He notes that the new Titanium™ multilayer flexible packaging structure from Flair better showcases the seed mix and its capabilities in hunting and farm supply retailers across the U.S. and at www.antlerking.com.

“I was searching for a new option that had a shorter turnaround time on orders. When I started looking, I discovered an upgrade from traditional woven bags that would allow us to add graphics all over the bag and even show our high-quality seed with a see-through window for the customer,” Stittleburg relates. “The window is so important to help explain what is inside. It really engages the customer, which is what you want at a point of purchase.”

According to Flair, its new Titanium material blocks moisture transfer to ensure high seed germination rates. This same material readily accepts up to 10-color reverse gravure printed-graphics and offers the option of a transparent window insert for product inspection. The multilayer laminated structure is formulated to resist the propagation of tears and boasts a distinctly low coefficient of friction that limits slipping when the bags are palletized.
