Twenty-seven employees from EDGE volunteered at A Child's Hope International in Cincinnati on June 1, 2026, spending an afternoon at the facility and one hour assembling food packs for children and families in need. In that single hour, the team packed nearly 10,000 bags of food—enough for each participating employee to have fed a child for nearly an entire year.
A Child's Hope International is a Cincinnati-based nonprofit dedicated to fighting hunger among children and families both locally and around the world. The organization relies on volunteer-driven assembly efforts to produce and distribute nutritious food packs to communities where food insecurity is most severe.

During the event, EDGE team members worked alongside one another in an assembly line format, filling each bag with a precisely portioned combination of vitamins, dehydrated vegetables, soy, and rice. The mixture is specifically designed to provide balanced nutrition for children who have limited access to regular meals.
The results of the single session were significant. The team's collective effort produced nearly 10,000 individual food packs—a tangible, measurable contribution to hunger relief at both the local and global level. The effort reflects EDGE's ongoing commitment to giving back to the Cincinnati community and supporting organizations whose work creates direct, lasting impact.

"Watching our team pack nearly 10,000 meals in a single hour reminds us of what's possible when people come together for something bigger than themselves," said Jake Sims, Chief Operating Officer at EDGE. "We're incredibly proud of our volunteers, and we're committed to continuing to show up for Cincinnati and the communities where we work and live around the globe."
EDGE plans to continue pursuing volunteer opportunities with local nonprofits throughout the year and beyond.
