Clemson students win awards

Jason (Branch) Wilson has been named the Dr. Robert Testin Outstanding Packaging Science Senior Award winner for Fall 2018, while Christian Oliver is the Packaging World Outstanding Packaging Science Senior.

Through Clemson’s Co-op Program, Wilson was able to obtain a position as a Dunnage Designer at Schaefer Systems International in Charlotte, NC. Over the course of his time at Clemson, he has been involved with the Student Memorial Chapel Committee, Greek Intervarsity, Blue Key Honors Society, and Alpha Tau Omega.

Also a senior at Clemson, Oliver joined Dr. Duncan Darby and Ms. Pat Marcondes to work for the Clemson University Center for Flexible Packaging (CEFPACK). This organization was a defining part of her packaging experience at Clemson. She was also able to complete two separate internships with BMW Spartanburg, SC, and with Dow Chemical. After graduating in December, Oliver hopes to be working within the R&D field.
