With the renegotiation of NAFTA and other widespread uncertainties surrounding the relationship between the U.S. and Mexico, PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, has produced an infographic highlighting key points from the 2017 Mexico Packaging Machinery Market Assessment (report coming soon; summary now available), just in time for EXPO PACK Guadalajara (June 13-15; Jalisco, Mexico).
Although, the demand for packaging machinery will decelerate in the short-term, it seems the slowdown will only be temporary. Serving as a visual snapshot of the issues facing PMMI members who do business in (or are looking to break into) the Mexican market, the infographic highlights several positive factors indicating packaging machinery demand will thrive once again and provides recommendations on approaching the dynamic market.
