The survey findings will be shared publicly and industry-wide at the 12th Annual Cold Chain GDP & Temperature Management Logistics Global Forum Sept. 29-Oct. 3, 2014 in Boston.
The current logistics spend for temperature-sensitive healthcare products is reported at approximately $7.5 billion worldwide and growing, or about 12% of the overall pharmaceutical logistics market. Approximately $4.9 billion is spent on transportation while another $2.6 billion is allocated to specialized packaging and monitoring devices. But what will the needs, trends, and concerns in market look like in the next 2 to 3 years?
The survey consists of two sections and covers a range of topics from innovation and performance to demographics and environmental concerns.
