In aseptic mode, outer surfaces are sprayed with ultra-fine droplets of disinfectant, while at the same time the bottles’ inner surfaces are treated with disinfectant and steam. Then the bottles are subjected to a flow of disinfectant and sterile air and/or sterile water and sterile air. Finally, bottles are sterilely filled. The system is said to be transparent and flexible, and it occupies minimal floor space, says the manufacturer.
