Sealed linear actuators for lighter loads
The SLS Light model, which measures 80 x 120-mm, has maximum dynamic payloads of 15 kg for the direct drive linear motor version and 30 kg for the ball screw version. Both sizes deliver a proprietary linear lip seal design that integrates with the stage’s anodized aluminum housing. The seal is made from a ruggedized polyurethane elastomer and resists chemicals, temperature extremes and mechanical wear. The seal can be quickly replaced without disassembling the stage or removing payload.
