Lexium MDrive products will benefit a wide range of motion applications with its compact all-in-one design saving space, reducing wiring and improving machine reliability. In addition, robust new design features and performance enhancements deliver even more, where MDrive products were great before.

The initial Lexium MDrive product release includes two motor sizes, NEMA 23 & 34, and two product versions:
— Pulse/Direction — motor+drive with 4 control modes: torque, speed, velocity, and step clock direction
— Motion Control — motor+drive+controller for direct programming with 11,120 bytes of flash memory

These products have a serial RS-422/485 communication interface, with operating power range of 12 up to 70 VDC. For ease of use, an improved, intuitive user software suite is provided for product configuration and programming.

LMD products with internal encoder also operate in closed loop mode using hMTechnology. hMT blends stepper and servo motor benefits, while eliminating negatives such as loss of synchronization or stalling. And a variable current control feature may reduce heat, save energy and lower operating costs in a wide variety of motion applications.

Lexium MDrive products are well suited for a wide range of industries and applications. And confidence is so high in their robust design, that Lexium MDrive products are backed by an extended warranty that doubles the previous 2-year coverage period to 4-years.
