Norstat,Inc: Safety switches

Furtif AMX is the name of a series of non-contact, magnetically coded safety switches that are bolted or screwed to packaging equipment or doors to prevent operators from potential injury when opening equipment that’s running.

The stand-alone electronic systems are made by BT Intl. in Germany, represented in North America by Norstat (Rockaway, NJ). Said to be the first compact sensor that can detect its own safety contact failure and then automatically disable machine operation if necessary.
