Designed to provide high resolution (to 0.05mm) position or distance information for linear measurements paths to 5 m at speeds to 3.5 m/sec, even under difficult mounting positions. Available with SSI or HIPERFACE interfaces as standards, and with a Profibus interface via an optional Profibus adapter. They fulfill the linear measurement requirements of a number of automation applications, including presses, punching and injection machines, and processing machines.
