Next Make2Pack meeting in January

A total of 17 people from 13 different companies attended a Make2Pack workgroup phone conference November 30.

The group decided to hold a face-to-face meeting at Procter & Gamble’s Technical Center in West Chester, OH, the week of January 10. The goal of this meeting is to develop a detailed model of several simple control entities used in packaging and processing applications and consider how they might be described using standard tools such as XML. If interested, contact P&G’s Dave Chappell at [email protected].

Make2Pack is a joint working group of the World Batch Forum, the OMAC Packaging Workgroup, and ISA SP-88. Its goal is to develop standards to address automation techniques and approaches useable across all of manufacturing.
