Rexroth Bosch (Hoffman Estates, IL) introduces the Indramat EcoDrive 16 amp, a SERCOS, DeviceNet®. Profibus-S and Can-Open compatible, sub-1 kw servo drive.

Including connectors, it measures 11.3’’x2.6’’x9’’. Continuous output will range from 100W to 1 kW, making it suitable for the smallest packaging applications. An EEPROM chip in the motor eliminates reloading parameters into the drive if the motor is replaced.
