MMC (Machine & Motion Control) for PC from Giddings & Lewis (Fond du Lac, WI) claims to combine PC and motion control for a “plug and play” experience.

Controls up to 32 axes of motion using ladder logic programming. Interfaces easily with DeviceNet or Profibus and to machinery I/O via simple 4-wire serial link. Allows access via plant intranet using Ethernet TCP/IP interface.
