GRAFCO PET Packaging Technologies: Vinegar bottles

Grafco (Hanover, MD) has introduced a line of 16- and 32-oz PET bottles specifically for vinegar. The injection/stretch blow-molded bottles are designed with a nitro-base for use with warm-fill nitrogen technology.

The addition of liquid nitrogen after filling creates pressure to keep the bottle’s sidewalls from paneling as internal vacuum pressure builds. The bottle features a 28-mm PCO finish.
