The hinge can be composed of a variety of materials, from carbon fiber to nonwoven PP, depending on the application. Hettinga's in-molding(TM) process allows the pliant fabric to be incorporated into the primary sections because they are injection- molded. The hinges have been used in the packaging of chainsaws, cosmetics, kitchen utensils and collapsible packaging.
