Options for heat sealer

Alloyd (DeKalb, IL) has introduced three options for its Model 2SM1216 and 2SM1428 Two-Station Medical Shuttle Heat Seal Machine with Level Three Data Acquisition.

One option is multiple thermocouples, strategically positioned in each heater block to measure sealing temperature at the tray flange for each cavity. A programming option allows sealing pressure to be controlled in pounds-per-inch for each tray sealed. Also, password protection allows only authorized operators to change these parameters.
