Paal's newest case packer makes size changes, service easy

From changing a motor to changing a case size, Paal makes it easy to own and operate its newest ELEMATIC tray, tray/hood, RSC and wraparound case packing systems.

This content was written and submitted by the supplier. It has only been modified to comply with this publication’s space and style.

To operate at speeds approaching 600 to 700 flow packs per minute and offer motorized tool-less changeovers, Paal uses ELAU servo technology.

At interpack, Claus Paal cited the highly modular, dynamic design of the servo motors to deliver the performance and optional, fully automated size changes. The servos also contribute to a low maintenance design that customers can readily handle without special knowhow.

The ELEMATIC 1000 WA-i in operation at the Paal booth is a horizontal tray and hood packing system featuring 8-minute changeovers for up to 10 different formats. A large, low height blank magazine allows for easy reloading. Blank feeding and flap folders are both servo-driven.
