Capable of improving flexibility on the production line, the ELITE easily adapts to different pack styles making it ideal for full sleeves, wraparound sleeves and gusseted packs as well as upright shelf-ready display-style cartons.
Thanks to a new modular design, the ELITE also enhances functionality and repeatability, helping manufacturers adapt to increasingly fast-paced market requirements. It features a choice of twin or triple arm carton feeders to improve handling and is designed to increase throughput rates on high-speed lines, being capable of packaging at speeds of up to 300 cartons per minute dependant on flight pitch.
The operator interface is built to the latest industry standards preferred by the multinationals, including full PackML version 3 – the industry standard for machine software programming – enabling easy interfacing & integration between machines. In addition, a new 8-axes servo drive system not only enhances flexibility and adaptability but also helps reduce changeover times during operation by improving repeatability and avoiding operator errors when introducing new pack formats.
With a new open framed hygienic design, the ELITE also improves access for both the operator and engineers as they can now access the equipment from either side of the machine. This includes full height perimeter clear guarding which enables total preventative maintenance. The ELITE is available in a full wash down version and comes with an IP56 rating, which guarantees the equipment is protected against dust and water ingress.
