AFA: Pick-and-place robotic palletizer

Able to be integrated with upstream equipment such as case packers, fillers, and tray packers, the PL-FRB Pick-and-Place Fanuc Robotic Palletizer from AFA can be equipped with many different end effectors to handle bags, bundles, cases, trays, bales, and more.

Pw 61577 Pl Frb Pick And Place Fanuc Robotic Palletizer

Palletizing pack pattern recipes can be stored on the HMI to provide quick changeover and maximize uptime.  The palletizer can be seamlessly integrated into end user’s lines, while complying with the latest safety standards.

Product comes to the PL-FRB on an infeed conveyor and the PL-FRB automatically picks the product and places it onto an empty pallet. The pallet is staged on a roller conveyor to ensure an accurate datum point for the Fanuc M-410iB. This process continues until the pallet pack pattern is completed. Once the pallet pack pattern has been completed, the PL-FRB discharges the completed pallet downstream onto a roller conveyor for further processing.

Automatic slip sheet inserters and pallet dispensing units are options available with the PL-FRB. The PL-GRP’s end effector is compatible with vacuum, finger, magnetic, and clamp grippers. Allen Bradley’s PanelView 700 and CompactLogix Control System are standard on the PL-FRB for a user-friendly HMI and reliable operation.
