Douglas: Top-load case packing line for pharmaceuticals

Said to triple throughput on pharmaceutical lines, Douglas Machine’s TriVex RLi packager provides case erecting, pocketed bottom and top tray placement, product loading, leaflet insertion, in-line case labeling, and case sealing, transforming a manual operation to a robotic, full automation packaging solution.

The TriVex’s robotic loader and end-effector picks and spreads bottles for accurate placement into cases with protective trays. Douglas also assures package quality and verification with the use of product detection and vision systems.
