Servo drives provide speed and efficiency to achieve positive case blank handling and automatic changeover. A manual changeover (approximately 1 min) can be provided at a reduced price. Servo driven case transfer picks cases from the case magazine with positive vacuum grip on a major panel and transfers the case forward to the case erector station. A second servo driven system grips the other major panel and rotates the case open, providing reliable case opening for any type of RSC or HSC case at speeds of up to 20 cases/min.
