The unique design of the Little David LS-800/DT multi-function print-and-apply label application system allows it to print then apply a label as a corner wrap, dual tamp (two labels applied in a single pass), or single tamp. Two labels in a single pass can be front and side; side and back; top and front; top and bottom; or bottom and front. All are possible with minimal changeover. Standard on the system are a labeling head, applicator, proximity sensor, photoelectric label sensor, mount, and microprocessor. Standard is Sato thermal-transfer 203 dpi printer that handles many bar code symbologies and operates at speeds to 12’’/sec. Labeling accuracy is within 1/32’’. A number of options are available.
