Fameccanica added a liquid primary packing (LPP) business unit to better serve the filling machinery market. The company now has manufacturing capabilities in Italy and China dedicated to the filling machinery market.

“A healthy company focuses on corporate strategy and embracing all the markets the company works in,” says Giuseppe Giallombardo, commercial manager, LPP business unit. “To define a proper corporate strategy, we have to answer questions such as, ‘Are we in the right business? What business should I enter to be successful? What resources should I dedicate to this business?’”

The core business of the LPP unit is composed of bottle filling machines for personal and home care products, featuring a range of machinery that can be configured in a monobloc.

Machines include robotic bottle unscramblers, full-servo self-learning labelers, flowmeter fillers equipped with Fameccanica patent high-performance valves, and full-servo universal cappers.
