Siko Products has released the MSA510/1 compact encoder with integrated translation electronics.

The non-contact system is a high-resolution, low-power sensor development for linear and rotary applications. Utilizing a low-profile magnetic band, resolutions to 10 micron via non-proprietary SSI or RS485, and velocities to 5 m/sec are obtainable.
