Hexacomb: Environmentally-responsible display board

Now available to the European marketplace, Hexacomb’s Falconboard Print All White display board is a paper-based board designed for demanding wide-format, digital printing applications.

The rigid structure features a solid bleached sulphate white core and liner. (The original version has a white clay-coated kraft liner and testliner paper core.)

Falconboard’s paper-based construction also offers advantages over petroleum-based (polyethylene, polystyrene or polyvinyl chloride) foam boards. It often contains recycled fibers which offer a preferred environmental profile. Also, paper-based structures typically can be easily recycled locally, minimizing landfill impact.

Falconboard Print All White features a clean white edge and is suitable for higher-end interior signage, two-dimensional displays, point-of-purchase applications, and more. The white core helps support visual appeal and graphic presentation.

Designed to replace interior signage where foam or other petroleum-based boards are currently being used. Falconboard Print All White has met B3 flammability test standards according to DIN 4102-1 (equal to the Euroclass F).

The display board accommodates most inks and adhesives, as well as commercial connective systems such as edge tape and plastic, or metal edging/channels. It is lightweight and heat-resistant up to 80 degrees Celsius. Its tough core resists denting and its durable construction is scratch and warp resistant.

Falconboard All White Print is available in 1220 x 2440 mm and 1400 x 3050 mm sizes, and thicknesses of 10 or 16 mm.
