Jindal: Film for stand-up pouch applications

Jindal Films’ Bicor 50 SuP 490, is a one-side treated, one-side sealable OPP-based sealant film for stand-up pouch applications that provides stiffness for stand-up display, high transparency for optimum visibility, and moisture barrier.

Bicor SuP also provides opportunities for downgauging compared to blown linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) or cast polypropylene (CPP) alternatives.

Designed for use as the inside web for stand up pouch applications, it is also suitable for other applications demanding high seal strength. SuP has a modified core for puncture resistance and improved seals, and provides better WVTR performance and lower haze than blown PE, according to the company.
