Ecopax: Take-out paper containers

Designed for the take-out food container market, the Athena paper container product line from Exopax Inc. is a round paper container that uses a lower-wall design – rather than high, bucket-shaped walls – resulting in consumers enjoying eating out of a bowl rather than trying to eat out of a bucket.

The Athena line is suitable for both cold and hot meals. Salads are well presented through the crystal clear lid, which is also vented to insure hot foods remain fresh. The rim of the container securely snaps shut, preventing leaks.

Custom printing including multi-color graphics and QR codes are available.The Athena line is available in three sizes — 24-, 32-, and 48-oz. The Athena line is also available with a microwave safe feature.

New toilet bowl cleaner pods from Gove Co. use 38% less PVA and are sold in a certified home-compostable pouch, replacing the brand’s earlier metal tins.

The adhesive volume is now electronically controlled with the new equipment using 24V signals to activate the electric valves, instead of adjusting the volume using nozzles and pneumatic pressure.
