A new pump placer from Anderson Machine Systems (Ridgefield Pk., NJ) is capable of handling pumps with bent dip tubes curving up to 5" off centerline.

During assembly, Model WD1200 inserts the pump and tightens it to the container using up to 25"-lb of application torque at speeds to 240 containers/min. It can detect for missing dip tubes and overcaps.
