Hoover Materials Handling Group, Inc: FDA-approved containers

Hoover Materials Handling Group (Alpharetta, GA) has introduced two HDPE containers for use in the food industry. The first is a standard 55-gal open-head drum.

Pw 20707 Hoo Mat Han Gro 10

It features a removable PE cover with standard 3/4" NPT and 2" NPT openings. Electrogalvanized metal lockband secures the cover to the drum body. The second container is a HT footring drum (shown) that measures 11/2" taller and 2" more in dia. Includes reusable, heavy-duty ribbed lid, overlapping ring and replaceable gasket. Compatible with most drum-handling equipment.
