The latest stock closure for 1-gal motor oil containers has reduced filling line maintenance costs for makers of major commercial brands, says Owens-Illinois Closure, the maker of the closure.

The 38-mm deep-skirted closure has thin walls, light overall weight, and provides a flexible, forgiving capping application during the bottle pick-up function. Consequently, it reduces the number of times a line must be stopped for adjustments to the capper, says the company.
