Teknor Color Company: Concentrates for color-shifting containers

ColorMorph custom-formulated concentrates from Teknor Color Company enable cosmetic and beauty manufacturers to package their products in containers that produce dramatic color shifts when viewed from many angles on the retail shelf.

Pw 8064 Webcolormorph

New custom-formulated concentrates from Teknor enable manufacturing of packaging for beauty products to achieve dramatic color-shift effects that create a lustrous, active presence on the retail shelf. ColorMorph™ concentrates, which use new types of raw materials and innovations in manufacturing, are said to yield more distinct color shifts as viewing angle changes than are available with conventional “color-color” variable concentrates. New possibilities include gold shifting to red and opaque shifting to opaque. Recommended for monolayer bottles, tubes, boxes, and other containers made from any transparent resin typically used in packaging, including polyolefins, styrenics, polycarbonate, and PET, and in thin outer layers of multilayer containers.
